  1. I might be interested in adding another to the minidisc museum Hehehe
  2. If only creating new minidisc hardware was that easy :'(
  3. I want some!! 10 of each sticker and color, shipped to Australia - how much?
  4. Have a look at some my my posts. 'Disc traders' a couple of threads down, for starters.
  5. Beautiful stickers, as usual!! Your minidisc items are always really nice to look at, qualia017! It is a real pleasure whenever you post. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who thanks you for sharing!!! :-) :-D Danny
  6. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=331281636891&alt=web Not sure if this link works (I'm a bit brainless haha), but it's a couple of Sony je480 decks for 23 bucks each, in the US - MISSING VOLUME KNOBS, even though this deck doesn't have one (must be the AMS knob). Item ID is 331281636891.
  7. I know, I'm crossing everything I can :-P I've seen them available on yahoo Japan a couple of times in the last year or so - US$200 is the minimum winning bid. I saw some sort of link a few days ago, around 38,000 to buy - 32,000 for a black one (¥). And, of course, if a forum member does have one, they would have to be willing to past with it, and be interested in the units I have to trade (which are too many to list hehe), and for the right value so that everyone is happy. Wishful thinking, but no-one will be hurt by it ;-) Anywho, my black and silver ones look a little sad, and would like to be reunited with their long lost sibling. The dream is still alive :-) Danny
  8. Hey all, I want to get a hold of this HI-MD unit, red specifically. Anyone have one they are willing to get rid of - I'd prefer to trade for it - my money sit is c bit crap atm :'( Thanks for listening Danny
  9. Umm, am I missing something, or is the RH1 necessary here? From MD-->pc digitally, correct? Ignore this post (or delete it, mods) if I'm in the wrong.
  10. We will do anything for love ... of minidisc! :-P
  11. Lazerhawk: Visitors ... I think blue Sony lumina, first series.
  12. What if you put a normal label in that middle space of the fruity colour (and other similar styles) to 'flatten' the area, and then put your printed one on? Test with cheaper, less-rare discs first, of course! ;-)
  13. Do you have the discs prepared already, or will you take thoughts on which disc design to pair the labels with? These 5 will all be rotated 90 degrees to the left, I assume. To get the ball rolling, I say put the first on a yellow victor fruity colour ... if you have one. Or a maxell iro maybe?
  14. Question asked was cheapest ;-) '600s and '50's are that for reasons.
  15. For a '600 recorder, ignore any price over 70 unless the package is worth it. Just have patience. For a '600D, ignore any price over 40. And I'm talking about eBay. Do not line the pockets of any sellers with higher prices - these units are just not worth it. CHEAPEST - not overpriced, low end! And I love my MDs!!!
  16. Cheapest recorder - nh600 ... Be careful though, the 600D is a downloader only. Cheapest player - eh50, pretty flimsy feeling, plastic body. '600 has AA battery 'built in' like the MDLP 4xx/5xx downloader units. Plays for about a day on one. '50 takes NiMH battery, and has AA sidecar - plays for more. Price for 600 - from about 20 bucks US, up to stupid prices that should be ignored. '50 - 50 min to around 100 or so. At the higher prices, you're much better off trying for an eh70, which can be around 150 ish. Metal body, nicer colours, etc. Minidisc.org equipment browser tells it better than I can ;-) Hope this helps :-) Danny
  17. You really enjoy not answering questions asked of you, don't you? Or are your reading comprehension skills a little lacking if it doesn't involve getting a bargain off craigslist? 'I'm sorry, but I think the moderator and others are doing this out of spite ...' WHICH OTHERS?? And I'm an eBay seller and buyer too. But that is irrelevant!!
  18. Who are the 'others' in your opinion? If there are three or more (others is at least two), it's a little unfair to only target a moderator specifically. Do you search craigslist for only MD-related stuff, or other bargains as well? Maybe, if you can't start threads at the moment, you can post responses to the various questions members have put to you in various places? There's a 'mostly-md' on eBay, based in the UK. Sells internationally. More irony??
  19. Changed my vote from in the off-topic section to not at all. If you had attempted to sell (not necessarily exclusively) in the classifieds, and no deal was done for whatever reason, the forum members had their chance. Reading Richard's post, I now realise my idea of links in signatures is a bad idea - sorry for bringing it up guys! And, to say it again, MY BELIEF is that this forum is about THIS FORUM first and foremost. Couldn't care less what other forums do with their classifieds or whatever. Just had a thought - do people post links on their eBay listings to buying through other means? To 'money'_fan - are PMs to moderators blocked as well? Oh, and I apologise if this thread is supposed to be about placing a vote, only - rather than relevant discussion/debate. I think our reasoning are an important aspect, compared to a simple multiple choice interpretation. But I'm not the boss, so I understand if I'm in the wrong ;-)
  20. Pretty ironic, you complaining about abuse 'money_fan'. 3rd parties can look after themselves, rather than using/abusing the work of others.
  21. Must be. Or must be valuable (Michael Jackson, you know). Or must be his prerogative. Or must be something else.
  22. I believe eBay auctions belong, at best, in the 'eBay related minidisc listings' thread. If one is constantly spruiking their own 'eBay only (or priority)' stuff, maybe they should just place the links in their signature? I know full well how to use eBay. If I want to have a look for minidisc auctions, I am capable of searching on there directly. If I am using this site, I would like the content to be relevant to THIS site - otherwise it is essentially spam. If the members of this forum are too 'cheap' for eBay sellers, why advertise here? For the record, I spend A LOT of money on my MD obsession :-P I hope my opinion has value to others :-) Danny
