  1. Both the wife and I are Music Unlimited customers (with seperate accounts), with a large (30GB+) digital music collection that consists of digital (downloaded) music purchased from Sony's "bandit.fm" music store - we would like to sync this music with our respective Music Unlimited accounts using Qriocity's "Music Sync" program (available from the Music Unlimited Web site)... The problem is, each computer can "see" and navigate the folders on our NAS (network attached storage) server, but we simply cannot select any of the NAS-based folders... The "OK" button is greyed-out! Is anyone else having these issues?
  2. Yeah, this is what I'm thinking of doing as a bit of Googling has shown that removing the region locks is often a risky - and usually not guaranteed - procedure... Five or six years ago, I would've dedicated myself to finding a way to achieve this, but these days, DVD-based optical drives are so cheap these days that it's easier to simply buy one or more DVD-based optical drives, and configure each of them for a different region. We're unlucky in that we have DVDs from most regions, so we'll need to buy a handful of DVD-based optical drives, but at least the models we're looking at are USB-based, so they can be moved from computer-to-computer easily...
  3. How does one go about removing the region lock on the included optical drive? I have a Sony VAIO VPCCB15FG with a Matshita DVD-RAM UJ8A0AS optical drive.
  4. Having recently bought my first VAIO laptop just the other day, I was a pleasently surprised to find a lack of "bloatware" (which supposedly Sony is infamous for!)... I was however, disappointed at the lack of a DVD authoring suite. All of the laptops I have bought in the past 10-15-ish years have included a CD or DVD authoring suite of some description and as a result, I have never bothered to actually purchase a suite seperately... Now however, I find myself in such a position that I need to purchase a DVD authoring suite of some description, but I'm not sure what to get as I've only used Cyberlink's DVD Suite and a long, long time ago, Roxio's Easy CD Creator. What do you all sugest for a DVD authoring suite and why?
