  1. DNS better be fixed soon!
  2. Several people have picked up RH1's here in the UK, but it depends on how "lucky" you get. I think AskDirect have had them in and sold out again. I know for a fact that some Sony Centres have them, so check there if you are desperate, but you will have to pay the full RRP of £250 if you do. My RH1 was sourced from my local (Portsmouth) Sony Centre if that is of any use to you.
  3. The RH1 does ship with this very item, or at least the European version does. Seems to charge quicker via the mains charger than USB too.
  4. Rich, the Sony Centre I use in Portsmouth has the EX90's in stock for the Sony RRP of £69.99, not sure if they are the SL or LP though - will find out tomorrow as I'm probably going to get a pair! Plus, your not that far away from me, Reading can only be an hour or so drive from Portsmouth (on the south coast) - worth it for a £20 saving?!

  6. Greg, To answer your second post - F.E.A.R is actually optimised for 2GB of RAM, and after playing it on my system with 1GB and then going to 2GB, it did make a difference. Mostly in terms of removing the slight "stutter" associated in running it at high resolutions with the quality settings up high. In other words, F.E.A.R likes 2GB of RAM for textures and the splash effects.
  7. Which really does work, very very well. :-)
  8. From my "investigations" it's been doing reasonably well here in the UK also. There seems to have been a lot of interest, and those places that have had the few units in stock already seem to have sold them on pretty quickly.
  9. Portsmouth Sony Centre received 2 of these today also, and now only has the display model left!
  10. Indeed, that was what I was also told at my local UK Sony Centre yesterday. Nice to have it confirmed. Oh well.
  11. Hmmm, Marc a couple of things... The Sony UK RRP is £249.99, and the release is "May". According to MDCentre.nl, this means the third week of May!
  12. 1G (2004 models) = NH1 NH900 NHF800 NH700 EH1 2G (2005 models) = DH10P RH10/M100 RH910/M10 EH930 EH50 EH70
  13. Stop fanning the flames! As for UK Sony Centres - hahahahaha. They mostly don't really know what they are talking about. If 3G units were to arrive before the end of 2005 here, Sony would have already announced them, and as that hasn't happened we already know the answer. If and when 3G does happen, don't expect it to reach the UK until around April/May 2006 at the earliest...
  14. I did indeed! As to the other question, I mayself would look at the MZ-E10, but also the Panasonic SJ-MJ88 (the still new SJ-MJ99 is very nice also for an MDLP player). I also quite like the older MZ-E60 and the MZ-E75 for pure old-skool appeal. As for recorders, the MZ-N10 is a good choice, but you already have a pretty good unit in the form of the N910, perhaps and R910 or R909 to compliment it? My personal 'holy grail' would a 'Go Fasta' Red MZ-R900 tho...
