  1. SOLD! This is the last of my minidisc gear that I am getting rid of. It's a Gold MZ-N505 minidisc recorder that has been hacked. If you have a remote there are separate Bass and Treble controls. It's in pretty good condition, but some of the paint has rubbed off in the bottom corners (see pic 2 to get an idea), there a scratches here and there and part of the sony logo has been rubbed off as well. I think I make it sound worse than it is, but at least you are aware its not perfect The Xitel has one issue. The switch to toggle between discrete and continual modes is broken off, but you can still change it with a paper clip or tip of a pen without any problems. (please see the last picture it's circled in red) I'd like to get (SOLD!) $35.00 including shipping in the US for everything and don't worry about paypal fee's. I'm open to offers and trades, but I am getting out of MD so I won't be interested in anything MD related. I have feedback here: http://audiotstation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22646 and here: http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=162514 Thanks for looking.
  2. You can send me any you don't want I would at least hold onto a couple nh900's to though as back up units and sell the rest. Nice find are they European or Australian units?
  3. I'm not sure what moderately priced equates to, but I would look at the sony d22 eggos for ~ $50-60, koss also has some nice inexpensive headphones like the porta pros or the ksc75's if your looking for something a bit nicer some sony eggo d66's would sound awesome and for nonportable use some audio technica A500's would also sound great. It would probably help if you posted what kind of music you listen to and also their intended use(s). Hope this helps. Drivel
  4. Thanks for looking into this for me and others I'm sure. My software is up to date, but I'm running the older OS 10.3.9 with safari 1.3.1 The newer 10.4+ includes safari 2.0. My guess is that apple has stopped fixing any issues with the older safari and anyone with the newer os will not have any issues then. I guess anyone that has an issue viewing these boards on safari should consider using firefox instead. I've pretty much switched over to firefox this past week. Funny thing is it took this issue to do that. It's a good change Thanks for all your help m8
  5. Well I do tend to open threads I'm interested in reading in new tabs. So multiple tabs are running at the same time. I'm gonna do some tests and test back in a bit... Thanks Edit: Ok it has nothing to do with tabs. I closed all other programs and was only using one window, It seems to be causing a kernel panic Date/Time: 2005-11-23 23:44:25 -0500 OS Version: 10.3.9 (Build 7W98) Report Version: 2 Command: Safari Path: /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari Version: 1.3.1 (312.3.1) PID: 1502 Thread: 0 Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000000 Thread 0 Crashed: 0 <<00000000>> 0x00000000 0 + 0 1 com.apple.WebCore 0x973f15c0 _ZN16KWQValueListImpl11copyOnWriteEv + 0x3c 2 com.apple.WebCore 0x974008cc _ZN16KWQValueListImpl3endEv + 0x20 3 com.apple.WebCore 0x97400764 _ZNK9KWQSignal4callEv + 0x4c 4 com.apple.WebCore 0x97554ef0 _ZN5khtml13HTMLTokenizer16allDataProcessedEv + 0x74 5 com.apple.WebCore 0x97554e68 _ZN5khtml13HTMLTokenizer10timerEventEP11QTimerEvent + 0x150 6 com.apple.WebCore 0x9742a654 -[KWQObjectTimerTarget sendTimerEvent] + 0x54 7 com.apple.Foundation 0x948cba4c __NSFireTimer + 0x68 8 com.apple.CoreFoundation 0x951d2500 __CFRunLoopDoTimer + 0xf4 9 com.apple.CoreFoundation 0x951cf860 __CFRunLoopRun + 0x5c8 10 com.apple.CoreFoundation 0x951d3d74 CFRunLoopRunSpecific + 0x148 11 com.apple.HIToolbox 0x92886e10 RunCurrentEventLoopInMode + 0xac 12 com.apple.HIToolbox 0x9288d4b4 ReceiveNextEventCommon + 0xf4 13 com.apple.HIToolbox 0x928af638 BlockUntilNextEventMatchingListInMode + 0x60 14 com.apple.AppKit 0x92e822ac _DPSNextEvent + 0x180 15 com.apple.AppKit 0x92e98d2c -[NSApplication nextEventMatchingMask:untilDate:inMode:dequeue:] + 0x74 16 com.apple.Safari 0x0000bda0 0x1000 + 0xada0 17 com.apple.AppKit 0x92ead0ac -[NSApplication run] + 0x21c 18 com.apple.AppKit 0x92f697bc NSApplicationMain + 0x1d0 19 com.apple.Safari 0x00007fc4 0x1000 + 0x6fc4 20 com.apple.Safari 0x000548ac 0x1000 + 0x538ac etc, etc...
  6. Hi, I was wondering if any other mac users experienced crashes when surfing these forums with Safari? I'm using 1.31. It's really not the biggest of deals considering I'm using Firefox more and more. I guess i'm more curious is if this is an incompatability issue or something? *scratches head*
  7. There are actually some on ebay right now i just picked up a set of 5 different ones. They're not the same design as the ones posted (Thy're series 2 and 3), but all of the XS-IV's are really cool. They're coming from the UK so I'm gonna be waiting a while. Beware collecting dics is addictive.
  8. Yeah not sure age has anything to do with it, I'm 26 and I've never met another person that used mindiscs... kinda depressing really
  9. hmmm Glad they didn't put it on the 12" powerbook otherwise i might be dealing with upgradidus right about now. It would be nice to rip lossless and then do digital out to a md though...
