  1. The error is on the player itself... I was sure to snag an extended warranty when purchasing, but I was hoping it would get a bit further before needing to use it.
  2. Hey all, I've been enjoying my A3000 for a few months now, but have become really frustrated with it in the past 2 weeks. I've had to re-initialize the player 3 times (and what looks like a fourth). I originally thought it was related to transferring while in the dock, thinking the connection was maybe a bit precarious. The dock has been relegated to charging and passing line out to my mixer. But just now, while plugged into one of my primary USB ports the player did it's thing again. I end up left with the message: Sorry, there is a system error (no. 032) From here I usually reset the player, re-initialize the disk, then re-transfer a dozen gigs of tunes. The first time it happened I saw it as a blessing in disguise to get my tunes well organized, but at the 4th time in 2 weeks I'm starting to lose my patience for this player. Any suggestions?
  3. Thanks, This site has become a very useful resource!
  4. Hey all, Was about to upgrade to 2.01 but my player is ver 1.00 and not 1.01. Normally I wouldn't really care, but SONY go out of their way to state "This firmware update is only for the NW-A3000 Network Walkman™ Portable Audio Player with firmware version is 1.01" and that has me a little concerned. Anyone safely gone from 1.00 to 2.01? Or is there aynwhere I can get a 1.00 to 1.01 update? Thanks, Richard
