  1. Hi, I just got a Sony MZ-N505 MD player and I cant get any drivers to install for it. It isnt recognized by SonicStage. I do see it as a "NetMD Walkman" ins Devices and Printers. I'm currently running windows 8.1 and SonicStage 4.3. I have manually downloaded drivers from this site, but when I go to install them I always get some random hash error. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Hello all, I am having an issue. After packing up my house and moving to Spain, I found in a box (within a box...) my old NW-E3 with USB (yay). However I did not have the correct disks, after my first bout of hair removal i found this place, which thankfully enabled me to download and install SonicStage (thank you Christopher). I also attempted to download drivers from sonys own support page, but I cannot get my computer to connect/recognise my NW. My Device page has a silver monolithic icon called Network Walkman, but it has no associated drivers! try as I might, I cannot find any usable drivers for this device. Help me please if you can and will. Regards. EDIT: windows 7 Bootcamp
  3. I have aquired an old, but still good looking, Sony Vaio PCV-W1/G all in one computer and am interested in upgrade possibilities. I understand that this PC will be taking many back in time a bit but it looks too good to be binned. I have decided to use linux as an OS as opposed to any windows variant and managed to load Linux Mint 32 bit which works very well with the exception of video playback, both saved to HD and online video content. I know Sony did not release specific drivers for this PC after XP and those are not even compatible even in xp mode with windows 7. Does any bright spark have any clues as to getting a better driver than the one supplied within Linux mint or a workaround? (the supplied driver works better than with the one windows 7 utilises).Last resort, a better driver for use with windows 7 than the original Sony one. Rather oddly, all of my research stated that this pc can only handle a max total of 1gb of ram, I have added two 1gb sticks and all seems fine. Any advice appreciated to keep this pc running.
