  1. I have a sony vaio model PCG-5K7P built in with Windows Vista Home Premium OEMAct 32bit I was having problems with my laptop starting (specific problem was that after loading past the welcome screen only a black screen with the pointer was visible so i opted using Sony Vaio's inbuilt recovery system that allows you to restore the C: drive to its factory settings.) At around 47% the process stopped and then errors 320 and 330 were shown. After restarting my laptop this message was shown: "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: 1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer. 2. Choose your language settings and then click next 3. Click repair your computer. If you do not have this disc contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance. File: Windowssystem32winload.exe status: 0xc000000f Info: the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt" So what should I do to fix this? Also I'd like to know as well how I can downgrade my laptop to windows xp provided that it isnt a tedious process since I don't know much about this stuff. Otherwise, simply going back to windows vista home premium would suffice.
