Sounds nice. I had Poori served with Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer in Boston just a month ago. It was really nice.

I am not eating right now, but I have a sudden craving for a burrito. Not any burrito though. It has to be a bar-b-q brisquette burrito the size of your forearm. biggrin.gif

Ah, dang it, that just made me crave a nice King Taco burrito, w/ Burn your mouth off RED Sauce.

Congrats to your family, Abhinav. I am sure you ate lots of yummy traditional Indian cuisine. As for me, I just had some Gouda with a few glass of pinot noir. smile.gif

I think the title of this thread shud be changed to 'what have u just eaten'. It makes more sense as I NEVER type while im scoffing food. huh.gif Seeing as I've decided to interpret the title differently; This morning i got to work just before the boss, and decided to get a cafe mocha from starf*cks, and as i always do, i regretted it, it gave me heartburn (was burping and felt a bit bloated if thats the right word), then got rid of the coffee aftertaste with some nice soft peppermints. For lunch I had half a baggette with spicey salami and smoked ham on it, to follow I had opened a pack of 2 strawberry jam and cream doughnuts and had one, then after work at the end of the day I had the other one, just to sweeten the deal before i went home.

With the Spousal Unit away, things have been getting desperate. Cinnamon Life for Breakfast. Cinnamon Life for Lunch. Cinnamon Life and Jello-brand Pistachio Instant Pudding for Dinner. But yesterday I broke the mold, and grilled up a strip steak I came across in the freezer (funny, the things you find there if you look), and some Brussels sprouts doused with butter and salt.

The Cinnamon Life is gone, so tonight will no doubt be Chinese take-out. One of our favorite places has this really good "Crispy Fried Eggplant" thing, in a dark spicy sauce with vegetables & stuff. Together with some Hot & Sour soup, and I'll eat like a king.

cinnamon life?

Cinnamon Life (the breakfast cereal). It's good and good for you (if you overlook the fact that the second listed ingredient is sugar):
  • Contains 9 essential vitamins & minerals
  • Is made with 100% Wholegrain oats
  • Is low fat
  • Is a good source of calcium and phosphorous
  • Is an excellent source of iron, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folate and zinc...
I know all those things, because it says so here:

http://www.lifecerea...innamonLife.cfm

If there's no Cinnamon Life in the house, my fallback cereal is Cheerios (Plain, Apple Cinnamon, or Honey Nut in that order)
