I'm starting to get into jazz myself though I'm not sure where to start (I was thinking along the lines of Miles Davis)..

Anyway, can anyone recommend music similar to this?

Sounds like some nice guitar going there - if you're into that sound you can try something like the album by John Coltrane & Kenny Burrell, or Paul Chambers "Bass on Top" or "Whims of Chambers". They are all really nice and easy to get into.
