Live Music Train

A while back I was able to be part of a music train. Basically, a bunch of live music recorded on soundboards at shows was converted from DAT to CD and shipped from a start point to an end point. Basically a bunch of people submitted live shows to the leader of the group, and the discs would travel from person to person until they reached the end. The end person keeps them. It was a close niche of a group that moved music around the globe this way. It was interesting. I heard a lot of cool stuff. One of the rules was that the recordings needed to be authorized (tapers were not prohibited at the show).

Maybe this is a good idea here.
