This is with regards to uploading old SP MD tracks.

How reliable are the SP MiniDisc uploads with the MZ-RH1? What I mean by that is, do you ever get uploads that are corrupted or have clicks and jumps in them, like a bad mp3 conversion? Or is the sound quality (in WAV mode) the same as the source every time?

After transferring 100+ old SP recordings (mostly optical) I haven't noted any particular problems with the RH1 upload procedure. Conversion to Hi-SP will result in slight degradation due to transcoding and the slightly lower bitrate but the sound quality is still excellent. Uploading direct to Wav/PCM will obviously give the best quality though.

Apparently the slight degredation due to conversion to Hi-SP is not the only thing to worry about....
