Not sure where to pop this one, I hope the loft is the right place.
My very first minidisc was a sony I think, it had a gumstick battery a scroll wheel for titling, but it also has a screw-in aa battery 'pod' to enhance its playing time, but for the life of me I cannot remember what it was, can anyone else remember this, or was it on so many other players that I will never recall it?
What minidisc did I used to own?

MZN 910 ! thanks for the link, dunno why I wanted to know, but it was bugging me.
I do remember it grounding out whenever I plugged in a mic, hence getting the NH1

Excuse me for butting in, but it is/was a very solid machine. Sounds like the connector needs repairing, and probably worth a shot. Unfortunately I got mine second hand as it happened to be the only model in my local drugstore when I finally went looking, and they wanted almost $400 Canadian for it, ouch.

Mine was, but I couldn't record with it, therefore it was consigned to the 'spare parts bin' and was the perfect excuse to pay less than £150 for the NH1 from Argos
