I have just found my first geocache after about one and a half hours walk, great fun. I was wondering if anyone else here does it?
Found a Geopiggy!

Yes, I discovered Geocaching last Christmas after being given a Garmin SatNav.

Great fun, although my wife is normally better than me at spotting them. We're still relative beginners, but hope to spend more time on it this summer.

On a recent holiday in the Canary Islands, I left a Travel Bug in a cache with the aim of getting it brought back to Wales. It's currently in Germany, and you can see its progress here, (although I guess you'll need to register/log in to see that)

Apologies to anyone not familiar with Geocaching - this must sound like a load of rubbish.

I heard about this a few years ago here in the States, it sounds like a great time. I may see if my wife would like to check it out with me this summer. :-)

Hungerdunger, I hope the bug comes home soon. Gonna have to get one myself.
Azureal, borrow a satnav, get one on your phone, just give it a go, its good excersise if nothing else!

I talked to my wife last night about it and she thinks it sounds fun too! We will give it a go soon. We both have iPhone 3Gs phones, so hopefully the built in GPS will be accurate enough to fund some fun stuff!
