I'm using VGN-CR25G/P which was bought in Asia, I installed windows 7, but all the functions for things such as power management, cam utility, control center are gone. I mostly need to adjust the brightness, because the brightness now is at the maximum and its very irritating! As far as I researched, windows 7 is not compatible with my model, but it seems to be compatible with a lot of other models. Is there anyway around this? I previously tried to downgrade back to vista using the windows old method but then it had many errors come up when windows starts, and I'm not sure what is wrong and I don't want to go back to it if I don't have to. Or if I do downgrade back to vista, can I reformat it and go back to having all the basics and just losing the files? My notebook did not come with a CD when I bought it so I want to make sure that I am able to reformat it without problems.
