I note that someone in Japan claims to have Sharp 1-bit 4-pole headphones (for this and other models). IIRC your review indicated that this technology hugely improves the sound of this and other Sharp units:

I ve test only this: Sharp HP-MD1-S; the sound is better and are confortable.
I dont know if the smallest 4 pole earphone improve the sound.
