Question

hello,

i recently acquired a second hand Sony Vaio Pro 13 (SVP132A1CW) and almost immediately updated it to windows 10. Now while looking through the settings i noticed i could not turn off the keyboard backlight. I googled it and found it could be done through the Vaio Control Centre. To my dismay i couldn't find a way to access it in windows 10. I tried to find something in the BIOS but there was nothing there (i have not updated my BIOS from the original). Is there anything i can do or is my situation hopeless?

I need to answer this.

I have also recently upgraded to Windows 10, I have Sony Vaio sve14a27cxh. I have done all the research.

In my case, you needed:

*Vaio Control center:

I got it from this site https://vaio-control-center.software.informer.com/3.3/ . I guess it has to be older version, current is 6.x.

Then when you will already have installed it you do not launch it.

Next up, you install:

* Sony® Firmware Extension Parser Device Driver (Windows 10 64bit...)

and

* Sony® Shared Library (Windows 10 64bit...)

After that you do a restart of pc and done :)
