New Original MiniDisc Release: Kieran Mahon - Solstice(Live)

Hi all!

We're a new record label (Airbag Records) and we’re huge fans of the MiniDisc format, and from the outset we wanted to release original music on MiniDisc.

‘Solstice(Live)’ by Kieran Mahon is an ambient / electronic piece recorded early in 2020 in the artist’s home studio on the south coast of England in a live performance.

The MiniDiscs themselves are:

- Professionally recorded onto brand new Sony MiniDiscs.
- Custom clear MiniDisc jewel cases with full colour inserts
- Full colour on-body printing.

This isn't a home DIY job, we wanted to do this properly!

We'd love to do many more releases on MiniDisc format going forward. We hope a platform like this can help - though we do apologise if this is the wrong place to post this type of announcement!

I love everything about this! So cool. The disc design is amazing. And if I wasn't gushing enough, nice MD unit there! That was my first device ever and what got me into this whole shebang - I wanted to record myself playing bass 🙂
