MP3 File Manager Version 2.0

MP3 File Manager Version 2.0 program is applicable for users with NW-E103/E105/E403/E405/E407/E503/E505/E507. The utility provides the functionality of simple MP3 files transfer via drag and drop to the Network Walkman. The best things about this utility:

Please follow the steps below to download the MP3 File Manager Version 2.0 program:
  1. Connect to the Internet.
  2. Set up the folder for storing the downloaded file on the hard disk of the computer. Assume the folder is named mp3_Inst and is created in C: drive.
  3. Download the following file into the folder created at Step 2. [MP3FMv2_ENG.exe (2.22MB)]
  4. After the download is completed, in Windows Explorer, select Views -> Details to check the file size. If the file size is not the same as indicated earlier, please download the file again. Note: Do not make the system go into a suspend, sleep, and hibernation mode during the download.

Installation Procedure

  1. Close all software.
  2. Connect the Network Walkman to the computer with the supplied USB cable.
  3. Click Start and select Run. (The Run dialog box will appear.)
  4. Enter C:\mp3_Inst\MP3FMv2_ENG.exe in the Open text box and click OK.
  5. Follow the on screen messages and go to the next screen.
  6. Select Network Walkman (E:) or Removable Disk (E:) in the drop-down list box and go to the next screen.
    - The drive letter (E:) varies depending on the computer environment.
    - If Network Walkman (E:) does not appear in the drop-down list box, disconnect the Network Walkman and connect it again to the computer.
  7. Follow the onscreen message.
  8. A screen with installation complete message will be displayed once installation has completed.
Installation confirmation

To check if MP3FileManager.exe and the related files in the MP3FM folder are successfully installed into the Network Walkman, please follow the steps below.

  1. Open My Computer on the computer desktop.
  2. Double-click Network Walkman (E:) or Removable Disk (E:) to view files located in the built-in flash memory of the Network Walkman.
  3. Double-click the MP3FM folder to open it. If MP3FileManager.exe and the related files with MP3 File Manager are stored in the MP3FM folder, the MP3 File Manager software is successfully installed.
  4. Double-click MP3FileManager.exe to start MP3 File Manager to begin transfer of MP3 files.
