About Me

Well.... I'm one of those old 'farts' that tries to keep up with all new things to do with the Recording Industry...I started with the "happy" old 78s way back in the late '40s...then had quite a big collection of L.P.s..but could never get them realy clean...so I could have a silent background...then along came CDs...a silent background at last!...now how do you get that quality on to cassette??...I had quite a lot of cassettes...but never realy got what I was looking for.... the good ones were realy good but some of the others were rubbish....what next.... Yes the answer to all my dreams THE MINI DISC....perfect! ....all this on a very limited budget.I wish that CDs and MDs had been around when I was young!
I will listen to almost any kind of music as long as it has been well recorded...
The music I like most is Jazz from the 50s ( BeBop) and big band swing from the 30s,40s and 50s.
