I seem to spend most of my time working (I am a self employed electronics service and design engineer), so it's a good thing that my main interest is electronics, and science and technology in general. I also enjoy cooking and enjoying spicy food, and growing fruit and vegetables, especially tomatoes.
I no longer program as I once did, and always found pleasurable, since Microsoft Windows became too complicated for a one-man programming team. Anyhow, as of late 2010 I abandoned Windows in favour of Linux, and wish I had done so years ago. I will never go back to that bug-ridden behemoth.
So hopefully I can get back into programming by developing my own scripts and executables under Linux. I also plan on teaching myself microprocessor development, particularly the PIC series of processors to start with. I would love to automate my workshop with micro-controlled test equipment to save me time and effort!
