  1. Thank you very much, wizard, but I'm using a similar remote right now (EL33) and I'd really like to "backgrade"...
  2. err... that's the price for the remote only, no recorder included. That's what I'm asking for in the topic's headline ;-)
  3. I was not aware that I'm asking for an item of such rarity - so the offers I've seen may be collector's prices? Nah, I just want to use the device. to Superbaldguy: I got a MC-EL33 recently as replacement, but noticed that I like the touch of the old device much better.
  4. Hey folks, The remote that came with my MZ-N505 finally gave up service. Is there someone who'd like to get rid of his or hers (and willing to ship it to Europe)? I'd pay some bucks if it's a new or never used device - but it's definitely not worth $35 (offers I've seen on the internet). Thanks for your attention and help Vegitaliano
  5. You're probably right, but I was eager to fix it myself. Moreover: New Old Stock of these starts at $35,-. I'll post a request, meanwhile I'll use a MC33EL which I bargained on eBay...
  6. This one came with the mellow yellow MZ-N505 I bought back in 2003 (the device is still as new, but the remote's forward button only works occasionally). You can see a picture of the remote here: http://membres.lycos.fr/minidiscfr/hpbimg/sony_mzn505_d.jpg Best Regards from late night germany Vegitaliano
  7. Hey folks, I just registered to ask if anyone can help me out with an explanation how to open the Sony remote control RM-MZ4R. I unscrewed the screws, removed the Play/Skip Button and the Volume Adjuster (the Stop-Button won't come out). Still I cannot open the thing - Brute force needed? Hidden latches? Help, anyone? Best Regards Vegitaliano
