i did try the omgaudio folder from the sourceforge download... same problem.. althought i just tried right clickin the player in windows explorer and then clicking the option to set the drive for performance rather than easy removal.. which seemed to (at least so far) reduce the write errors alot.

yea i get alot of write delay errors also.. with this file manager, the ml_sony winamp plugin, and sometimes sonicstage too... im tryin all these on my desktop right now.. which does not have usb2.0... so i might try my laptop which does have usb2.0 and see if it works better.
