  1. Yea. I recently ressurected my old NetMD unit, I was able to put in a battery and listen to my music collection from like 6 years ago. No charging or dealing with lost cables or anything like that. I just put in a battery, mindisc and was on my way. I'm looking for an update to this idea, hence the HiMD with a battery. Looking for something that will be able to stand the test of time a bit.
  2. Personally, I'm looking for a device that doesn't need to be tied to an outlet. So something that doesn't need to be recharged, like a cell phone.
  3. Can you drag MP3's to this device or is that a feature reserved for the MZ-RH1?
  4. I can get it to transfer about one song at a time successfully, but SS crashes after doing so. It also seems to crash quite a bit with library functions. I have a straight up windows 7 laptop and it all works 100%. Ideally though I'd like to get SS working properly on XP through VM so that I can use my mac which is my main computer. Having to maintain a separate PC just to use MD is pretty ridiculous.
  5. The most recent sonic stage crashes my XP in virtual box on 10.8.3. I can transfer maybe one file to my MZ-N510 and then sonic stage crashes. If there is a workaround to this, please let me know!
  6. This is actually a question I have as well. I have a MZ-N510 and I love the fact that it runs off a battery rather than internal rechargeable. I'm looking to go the HI-MD route and one of the things I'm looking for is a non-piggy back battery option. Would the MZ-NH700 be the best option that matches this?
