  1. Compatibility with Windows XP user accounts, so that each indivudal user can have their own library of music, rather than share the same one.
  2. That's really annoying. Both me and my brother have Sony mp3 players and we have to share our library's. Even more annoying, you can't add or remove songs from the library, or do anything really, unless your account is an admin account! Bad move by Sony really, it surely can't be that hard to implement. I'm using WMP instead at the moment as a result.
  3. Is it possible for each individual user account in Windows XP? Having just set up a couple of new user accounts for members of my family, I've noticed that their library in SonicStage CP is the same as mine, and any changes they make on their account also changes mine. Is there any way for individual accounts to have individual libraries? Surely this must be possible, but I don't know how! Many thanks for your help Tom
  4. If you have a HD3 you will have to initialize, as I found out earlier. Grrr...
  5. At least I'm not the only person experiencing this problem, it seems your problem is identical to mine. Surely there is a solution to it? I've no doubt it's probably quite simple in the end but I can't see what it is...
  6. It's definately the conversion stage. When I copy a CD in wav format, the track splits are correctly positioned. When I then convert these wavs to atrac, they're half a second early. It's definately the conversion stage
  7. Strange. I don't know why I seem to be having this problem. I've contacted Sony about it but I'm not hopeful of any response. The people on this forum are a lot more knowledgable and helpful than those at Sony support, which is why I asked here. I'm hopeful that's there's a simple explaination for this and I can stop worrying about it soon!
  8. Hi everyone I've had this problem since the day I got my HD3, and I've finally had enough! The problem I have is that when SonicStage converts a file into Atrac3Plus (regardless of bitrate), the track split is half a second early. This happens on every single track. So at the beginning of every track, you have the final half a second of the previous song, and I'm sure you can imagine this is quite annoying. I've included a sample so that you can hear for yourselves exactly what I mean, and what an annoyance it is. http://s64.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3MAMXFM...CH3IW8RR0TVJ6WL I've had this problem with every edition of SonicStage I've tried (2.3, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and now 3.4). I use Windows XP, but had the same problem using Windows 98, and have had the same problem on three different computers. The early track splits occur both when copying straight from CD to atrac or when converting an existing file to atrac. However, if I copy a cd to wav using SS the track splits are correctly positioned - so I know it is neither my cd drive nor sonic stage's importing. The problem comes from the actual conversion stage. If anyone can help me solve this problem I would be hugely greatful! Thanks Tom
