If you read Lemmin's post he was referring to the discussion of comparing operating system preferences. No-one said don't mention Vista.

I believe the new features are outlined in the first post of the thread. (In other words there are no major new features that we can see for XP). The only "improvement" listed on the Sony website is Vista Compatibility.

I think what is relevant is the functioning of SS under Vista, not a general pros & cons discussion of the Vista OS itself.

Thanks Lemmin -As the man (?) says, strictly speaking this is a news topic pertaining to the new release of Sonic Stage. So let's keep the OS wars to a minimum.

I'm not an expert on this model, but I recommend getting a price quote from PriceJapan who specialize in exporting Japanese products overseas. I suspect the display would be in English, but the manuals in Japanese. Which specific issue are we saying this fixes (the old omgjbox.exe error is just the generic application error) ? and under which Windows envrionment - XP SP2? Which version of Sonic Stage? This all seems a little vague so far. * Split topic

MD Simple Burner is still supported under XP. The SS 4.3 upgrade only upgrades the Sonic Stage components in any case and not Simple Burner.
