I have to say that these problems that were supposedly ammended are still happening to me after the update, maybe its cause i did the canadian update on my japanese model

Maybe when they release the model here i'd be able to get mine repaired and do something about the radio. Although i do remember this thing was never a great receiver to begin with in Japan I still miss its feature.

Are you serious? Well it's quieter than the PSP but at max volume I find the nw-A608 volume sufficient enough to drive me deaf with the supplied ear phones, not fantastic for leaving them out of your ears i guess.

So if you're saying the radio tuner range is a hardware issue but if its a software issue would there not be a way to change it if you knew how?

Hi i've been searching all over the net and have considered emailing Sony but they're making it impossible for me to find the right place to email them, anyway i looked on this forum and i was just wondering now if anyone knew how to change the radio frequencies for this device. Since i bought it from Japan the only radio frequencies i have aren't very useful now that i'm back in Australia any help would be appreciated thank you!
