  1. I think so many people are doing what you just mentioned above. Some people have already purchased an XBox360 and have already made up plans to also buy a Nintendo Wii. At the beginning of the year, I had made up my mind to get a PS3. But since the pushing of my brother to get a 360 instead, we got one. And since then, I do not regret it. I don't think you need a PS3 to get the top notch in HD Gaming. Have you heard in the news that the 360 will feature an upgrade later this fall that will enable 1080p resolution? I'm still pretty skeptical about that.
  2. Big business these days. They can give you some of the best products, but at the same time give you the worst of services and insults.
  3. Bravo! Who needs 3rd party accessories
  4. Anyone familiar with this Screen Shot? Its probably why I can't transfer purchased music. Reason is inside the red box.
  5. I think the Sony Folders are a lot better because you can switch folders, or playlists by extending the shuttle and search for the folder. In other DAP's, you would have to go to 'music', 'playist' and choose which one. In the Sony DAP's, you can do it without looking.
  6. How about converting from a higher bitrate to a lower one? Like MP3 at 160 to Atrac3 at 132? Sound quality will still be lost? Maybe if I convert a file from MP3 192 to MP3 128, it won't lose sound quality because its in the same format...and converting formats are the only way that conversion takes away from sound quality.
  7. Atrac3 132kbps better than MP3 128kbps? I just thought that if I was going to Atrac3, I would just rather us MP3. Its either Atrac3+ at 64(for space)or MP3, because I'm pretty reluctant to use Atrac3. 1) it has inferior sound quality to Atrac3+(if it were 128) and 2) MP3 probably sound about the same. But if Atrac3 is the same as MP3 to everyone elses standards, i'll pick up Atrac3 for its use of battery. MP3 would soak up a lot of battery, I think.
  8. I feel quite embarrased to not have used the search engine. Thanks again, Stuge
  9. Dang, thanks for the heads up though. I'm trying to get a good balance between quality and space. Is ATRAC3 at 132 Kbps good? I've heard bad rumors about it .
  10. Or is it that the NW-E507 cannot play ATRAC3+ in 128... I'm confused. I could transfer ATRAC3+ 128 in my NW-E307
  11. Thank you for the link, it worked on me as well!!
  12. Here are my options 352 256 192 132 ATRAC3 105 ATRAC3 66 ATRAC3 64 48 However, I can't transfer in Atrac3PLUS 128 I have SS 3.4, Model NW-E507 If you have a quick answer, please post. All replies will be greatfully appreciated.
  13. Canadian currency, though the same as U.S. currency, have more value than the U.S. currency. The NW-E507 is 129 USDollars here. But in Canadian Dollars, its 149, which is th price the NW-E507 had before the price drop. But then again, its not a bad Idea. I've searched some store sites that are selling the NW-A608 at a whopping 249 USDollars, and thats a lot of money. I'm hoping to find one that is under 200 dollars, granted its only 1 gigabyte larger. And yes, the U.S. has not received the NW-A600 series for a great time now (As well as the NW-A1000 or NW-A3000, not here yet). Tis a sad, sad place in my world I have a question. Are the NW-A600 series supported through Windows 98SE? Or any other past Windows Operating Systems? Just wondering.
  14. I think i'm just going to get the E507 because Sony hasn't released the A608 in the U.S. months after its release elsewhere.
  15. Who uses dispodable AA/AAA? Shame on you . Rechargable is the way to go. I don't like DRM protection at all anymore. This is the kind of stuff that drives people to P2P file sharing programs, not away from them.
  16. I think the Hype as been for the PS3 for quite some time. But now that they posponed the release date, they are going to lose some customers and make others very skeptical.
  17. Thanks Stuge, that helps a lot with my decision
  18. I don't have any more problems, maybe bacause I freed a lot of space and defragmented my drive. -HD size is 60GB -I don't know what you mean by parttioned -not a lot of programs running on my task bar.
  19. Is there anyway to replace the battery? Since I think that Sony has totally ditched the U.S. in releasing the NW-A608, I thought I would just get the $129 (74 pounds UK) NW-E507 because of their price drop. I was comparing it with other players, and i've heard that if you can replace the battery, that would be good. In any circumstance I may need to replace the battery, a one year use. Then a Lithium Ion battery may need replacing.
  20. No, just uninstalled and installed SS a few times in the past. Other than that, no other programs. My computer is working well now however, and I am pleased
  21. I tried Disk Defragmentor, and it helped a little. Though I still notice a difference in PC performance when SS is on, and when its not. Thanks for the codecs though.
  22. Thanks, will do Actually, yes. Do you know where I may find them?
