cas

i erased an MD that had track info using edit->erase all and it all seemed to work fine (complete, toc edit, etc) but ever since then i get this "Can'tReada" error message (not listed in my user manual) whenever i turn the md on. it won't read anything: it just flashes the message & turns itself off... i've tried inserting blank & pre-recorded MDs and neither worker. i used another md to title a disc & its tracks but even with the text info it wouldn't work... still that same message... i've been using this unit for about a year (recording concerts, classes & cds) and it's always worked fine. i live in france and they don't sell them anymore around here. any ideas, suggestions on how to fix this? thanks
