  1. Further to my last..................I have found in my programs Files a file that is called IMAGE DRIVE.EXE but if I try to action it , I get a message that says my "licence does not allow me to use that application". I purchased NERO 6 with the 4 updates and the updates have the Image drive in them...thus it is in my programs...but why can I not use the NERO IMAGE DRIVE program. Is it because I purchased an OEM NERO 6 package??? Anyhow, does anyone know where I can get the entire NEROIMAGEDRIVEINST package????
  2. Thank you for all your help. I think the problem lies in the fact that the layout of NERO 6 is much different than what you are using. I have updated NERO 6 and the windows are all different. Anyhow, I did finally find my way around and burn a test.nrg file to the image file and saved it. That would be up to about item 10 on the "how to do list" I then opened the NERO IMAGEDRIVE and clicked on the ... button, found my test.nrg file and it is now sitting in the window that says "imagedrive" Below that is a "destination" choice window and the only two choices I have are(1) IMAGEDRIVE or my (2) F Drive which is my CD writer. I do not have a LOAD button but at the bottom of the screen is a NEXT button. If I choose the F Drive, and press NEXT the drive pops open and wants a disk...no disk in it. If I choose the Image drive and press NEXT all I am really doing is creating a duplicate of my .nrg file. I'm not sure if the fact that do not have AutoInsert selected for my top CD drive is effecting this. I know that if I do put an audio CD in my top CD drive it does not automatically start to run. Where would I see if I have AUTOINSERT selected (WIN2KPro) I am also not sure if NERO 6 will record on the IMAGEDRIVE, mp3s and WAV files. Does it matter if they are mixed up. My test file was all WAV files.. Any ideas???
  3. OK...I'm clueless !!!!! I have NERO 6 OEM and all the updates loaded. I can not find any feature that resembles what has been stated above concerning burning a CD . I can't even do Steps 1,2,3 because when I open NERO there is no windows or buttons that even look like what has been described. I can click on Make An Audi CD but the rest of the buttons you have indicated are not even on that screen.... Do I have the wrong NERO disk ???? I have NERO OEM 6 fully loaded with all updates, (4). HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wacky:
  4. OK...my first burn...a little one  I used the SIMPLE BURNER and only tried to burn one track onto a minidisk....and it worked.......but I was wondering why I could not get any CD INFO when I clicked on the CD INFO button in the SIMPLE BURNER program. I registered with CDDB2 in my SonicS version 2 and it always gives me the info. All I get when I hit the CD INFO button on the SIMPLE BURNER is the CDDB2 logo doing its thing but no info comes back to the computer...all the track titles of the inserted CD are not visible, just a BLACK SCREEN, although the check boxes are still there. Any ideas???
  5. Thank you for all the help. SS2.0 has been installed correctly and I will now start reading how to transfer files and get ready for my first MD burn.....
  6. When I click on the link you gave me and then click on SS20E2040319.md5 all I see in my IE 6 is a bunch of numbers and letters...oh-oh.... is this the key code?? ........... There does not appear to be a file to download....unless I am doing something wrong :wacky:
  7. From my posting above.......I could not find the small file named SS20E 20040319.md5 on any of the links.. Could some one give me a hint as to how I can install SS2 without that file...like...is it included with one of the other two files I downloaded from the sites??? Help Please I don't want to screw this up... for the individual from Ireland...thanks for your input
  8. I went to the link and read all about the ss2 and it stated that I was to download 3 files. I downloaded SS20E-20040319.exe and md5sum.exe.........but...I could not find the small file named SS20E 20040319.md5 on any of the links.. Any idea where it is ???? Have not loaded ANY stuff from the CD that came with the MD player. have tried out the FM radio...awesome sound quality
  9. Tomorrow I will be the owner of a brand new MZNF810CK and for the past few days I have been browsing this forum...very informative. :wacky: The question(s) I have are these. I have heard so much bad stuff about burning CDs with this gear that I printed out a posting by a fellow who advocates NERO...and I have NERO plus all the updates. The thread I am referring to is http://www.minidisct.com.forum/showthread....=&threadid=4825 Based on what is written at this thread, what do most of you suggest?? Is there some of the enclosed software that comes with this rig which should not be loaded?? As well, what about the new SSonic 2.0 version...as stated on this board...should I load that as well.?? OS Win2KPro/ 800mghz/ 250kRAM I am very new to the minidisk concept and don't want to screw up my computer, nor do I want to trash my new toy. Would appreciate any plain language help you can pass. Thanks in advance
