  1. I use LP4 all the time to record from the Music Choice channels on cable TV (jazz, smooth jazz, big band, new age) and it sounds fine to me. When I had a car with an MDLP player, it also sounded good, but now I do all my listening at home.
  2. Other - I record from the Music Choice channels on cable TV.
  3. Both are available at Audiocubes2.
  4. Amazon is selling it for $540 - a bit pricey, but not insane.
  5. Does anyone know if there is a device that will accept a TOSlink Dolby Digital stereo signal and convert it to a TOSLink Linear PCM stereo signal? I have tried searching Google for such a device and have come up empty. Does anything like it exist? I would like to record the Music Choice stations from my cable box onto minidisc, but they are transmitted in 2 channel Dolby Digital, and that digital signal is not understood by my minidisc deck. Right now I am recording via analog, but if I can get a digital hookup going between the cable box and the deck, that would be better.
