  2. I own a silver R50. Great machine! I have tried to sell it a few times, but it wasn't meant to be, and now I'm glad that I still on this nice MD-recorder!

I did use it a lot to record with and use it's great line-out. Lately I haven't used it a lot, maybe I've become lazy and addicted to recording with the PC (RH1).

I once did own an orange R50. I got it of ebay and unfortunatly the unit was scratched and in bad shape cosmetically. It did work though.

I sold it and must admit that I haven't regret that choice. I have to have a mint one or none at all.

Can't wait for your pictorial Isshi!

  3. Well, it seems I also have a charging problem with my RH1.

I don't use it that much and it's always connected to the computer (or is it best to not do that?)

Now it seems the battery is completely drained. The unit just seemed really dead :-(

It didn't respond to anything. Not with connecting (again) to the pc. It also didn't gave any sign of life

when connected to the wall adaptor.

Luckily I own a EH1. This one uses the same battery and there was still a bit of energy left.

I switched the batteries and now the RH1 is loading from the wall adaptor.....

Any ideas how this problem may have occured? And what's best to avoid this in the future?

  4. Secondly I like the feature on RH1 that can actually normalized and level each track automatically from different CDs. That is the most important feature for me. I don't think the onkyo has this feature.

Does it? I didn't know that! Is this only when recording optical from CD or also when recording via SonicStage?

  5. Selling a virtually new MZ-DH10P (silver). I bought it brand-new from B&H only 5 months ago. It has been extremely well cared for, and is in perfect condition. Everything is included. Selling for $190 plus shipping.

    Do you have pictures?

  6. The random shuffle on mine has been top notch so far. Think I have gone through about two eight hour discs with no repeats.

Does anyone know if it's possible to select some songs as a playlist and play only thesong in the playlist on shuffle??

  7. How do you like the Eject clip? With my Panasonic it works, but only to just open it up and pop out the disc. The door closes directly after, so it's difficult to change the discs (have to keep the door open with my fingers and then try to remove the disc without closing the door again and trying to put in a new one)....

Is this the same with your unit or do I have a faulty Eject clip?

By the way; great pictorial of a very nice unit!!

  8. is it just me or do those look just like shure e2c?

These look like them, but are much flatter. The E2c have a much bigger part sticking out of your ear. These are so flat that you can lie on your side with the phones in and without hurting your ear.

For the sound; these are so called in ear monitors and they have a dual driver system. The Shure's have a single driver.

  9. Very nice -- I'm glad that you've taken the time to share your pictures with the community! It's nice to see comparison pictures with other units, as that allows certain viewers to better understand the dimensions. How do you find the HD digital amp in comparison to the Auvi?

    You're welcome!!

I always thought that the Auvi sound was the best, but with the HD digital amp and don't hear much difference anymore....

  10. Beautiful! Seen here with the attached speakers. Transparent speakers! Beautiful. This would look nice on my desk at work. It functions as a regular MD player with remote, but the speaker attachments makes a great desktop stereo.

I'm thinking about buying this on http://www.amazon.co.jp. Neat stuff.

Well, I own the silver Panasonic SJ-MJ58, wich is a special version of the 59. It includes clip-on earphones, wich is the main diffence. It's indeed lovely; I've attached some pics for you!

    (sorry for the bad flashlight)

    Cool blue light when connected!

  11. Finally I've made some pics of my sparkling new EH930. I chose the brown color, because I thought it was a stunning color for a MD-player. I still do think it's stunning!

See for yourself! As I made some pics from a different angle, you can see that the color of the unit sometimes seems different with a different ligth on it. It changes from really brown, to copper or even a goldish color...

And for comparison with the NH1 and the Sharp IM-DR80:

  12. Because I'm having these 'phones for sale again, I have made some pics of them. Thought I'd share them with you!

They're really great phones, but to be honest, I'm not much of an audiophile. I hear the difference between the crappy buds that come along with the units and some better phones, but $300,- phones are just not ment for me.. I'd rather listen with my Sharp MD33's than with these when I keep about $200,- in my pocket!

  13. As it's clear that there is no NH1 available with a USB port in the cradle, and I don't like my unit just lying on my desk when connected to the PC, I made a USB cradle for my precious.....

Here's the pic! The unit has to be disconnected and to be placed on the original cradle to load the battery, but for tranferring songs, I think this is a great solution!

    IPB Image

By the way; I already had the plastic cradle. I once bought a few at a local electronics store; it took a lot to eventually buy them, because they normally use them for displaying the units they sell.

  14. It's simple. Upon entering the menu (by holding the menu button on the RM-MC40ELK remote for a few seconds):

    1) Select: 各種設定 / Option

    2) Within "Option," scroll down and select: 表示言語 / Language

    3) Select: 英語表示 (English Language)

Which color scheme did you purchased? I have the black unit --> click here. Well, enjoy your new toy. :)

Do you perhaps know if it's the same for the EH930? It would be great to change the language setting on my player; now I have to guess what it says!
