  1. If you've not yet ejected it, you could try powering off the unit & getting the disc out somehow while powered off. I don't know if it applies, but I did read something suggesting that the index/toc was only updated on eject and someone had had some success with that approach.
  2. There is a Sony MP3 conversion tool that you can download that can help. (I don't have the URL, but it's the optional part of the connect.com download) It will scan folders on your hard drive (including sub-folders) that you specify looking for MP3s in order to convert them and load the resulting .omg files into SonicForge. It also has an option to convert any MP3s currently in SonicForge. If you do this, you won't see anything different until you go to the properties for a track, at which point one of the tabs should show there's two source files, the .MP3 one and the .OMG one. It's not a fast operation (i.e. set it going and leave it running in the background/overnight) but it's not something that will need doing often. It would be nice if it could be automated for auto-conversions as part of receiving Podcasts, but it looks like that could only be done via a 3rd party external scripting app, that could drive the GUI... /Gwyn
  3. Just for info, the 900's currently at £160 on Amazon, and 5x1GB Hi-MD disks are £30+£3 P&P from blankshop, so I'd have thought that your £150 to £170's target's not completely out-of-reach.
  4. Hmm, US-only, else I might have taken you up on that! -- Gwyn [in the UK!]
