I've just found that my scard mixer allows it's clock to be set by an external digital source i think this will give the best sound quality... just don't know if it sends the track markers. g.

hello all. I'm trying to record digitally from a mds-jb920 minidisk deck using the digital in on my soundcard. I'm wondering whether track markers are transmitted when using this interface and whether theres a program out there that will split the recordings on my pc. Sorry if this is an obvious question thats in the faq.. i have looked. oh, it's via optical spdif. g.
