  1. The PS-2 and Hosa connectors allow you to provide phantom power to your mics and get some clean gain to go line in. I used these with AT853rx for a bit with good results. The Giant Squid Audio omnis are some pretty good mics, especially for the price. All this can be yours for $150 + shipping. I can split this up if need be. I'll also throw in 2 9v batteries.   3. do you have a microphone already? you could get some hosa line transformers, they will give you 20db of clean gain to go line in (much better quality than mic in). wed
