    Reuse old earphones

AFAIK there is a plastic butt that sticks out from the side, if no one wants your old pair, and you are going to throw them away, why not get a dremel and remove the plastic and try them on another device. You have nothing to lose but a bit of your fingertip if you aren't the handy type
  2. Charlie Winston's album, Hobo Especially Kick the Bucket. Incredibly catchy hook. My daughter said 'Dad, if I die before you will you play this at my funeral?' She is 12 where as I'm 51 Of course I agreed, and I hope who ever organises it understands her wishes! Great sentiments
  3. WOWEE Very good! Can I ask what you used to get the noise so low?
  4. Love the Betel Paan colour pop, and the contrast in the black and white is great Had a concert over the weekend, photography was allowed, but no flash, so have some 3200 iso shots John Linell and John Flansburgh better known as They Might Be Giants
  5. Love the Panoramic shot. Two from my local wood and
  6. And 'Burn after Readin' should have been titled 'Burn after Watching'! Although I love the Coen brothers, and have the hots for Tilda Swinton, all I could see was 'Twelve Monkeys' in Brit Pad and Everett (from Oh Brother, Where Art Thou) from George Clooney. Not so much as disappointing but more of a what the heck?
  7. has just purchased 5 unused still sealed MD from a charity shop for

  8. Never has a thread said 'get your mp3's elsewhere' more than this oneand I'm not about to suggest that you do

    sell my RH-1?

As you never use it, sell it. Someone will make very good use of it, and the day you regret selling it, remember that somewhere, you made someone happy! Sorry to hear about the laptop though

    Geocaching

I have just found my first geocache after about one and a half hours walk, great fun. I was wondering if anyone else here does it? Found a Geopiggy!
  12. I saw 'Il y a Longtemps que je t'aime' (I loved you a long Time) last night, incrdible acting, thought provoking story, and beautifully paced. three packets of tissues needed. And by sheer contrast, I have 'Burn After Reading' lined up for tonight
  13. Mine was, but I couldn't record with it, therefore it was consigned to the 'spare parts bin' and was the perfect excuse to pay less than
  14. MZN 910 ! thanks for the link, dunno why I wanted to know, but it was bugging me. I do remember it grounding out whenever I plugged in a mic, hence getting the NH1
  15. Not sure where to pop this one, I hope the loft is the right place. My very first minidisc was a sony I think, it had a gumstick battery a scroll wheel for titling, but it also has a screw-in aa battery 'pod' to enhance its playing time, but for the life of me I cannot remember what it was, can anyone else remember this, or was it on so many other players that I will never recall it?
  16. Two shots from Cambridge, first is the famous Trinity Street and second the hitherto unknown most expensive piece of guttering, I would imagine. Look at all those different shapes and angles!
  17. Oh my, the scooters were taken a long time ago, and I was just fiddling around with the programme, not keeping records like I should have. I think the surface has to be shiny in the first place, those scooters definately were, and with strong sunlight too. I also used three shots as well Your photo above is wonderful, it strikes like an old postcard from the early 1920's. the aging process has made it even more so. Top stuff Something I made today nearly 4 hours work to be honest with you, then my daughter 'stole' it
  18. Stop being a tease you have some wonderful photo's here and I dare say some good opportunities we would like to see some results!
  19. Julian Cope, just a colection but I HAD to turn up 'World Shut Your Mouth'
  20. I had some time out on Sunday and found this in one of our local cemetries Stuge have you had a go with DPHDR yet? I'm itching to see your results, and to hear your comment between that and Photomatix
  21. Thanks for the complement , I use DPHDR, it was nice and cheap at the time, sadly they have gone more expensive, but not as much as photomatix! the flower was shot from the ground, with the sun behind, and photoshopped within an inch of its life BTW your link isnt working,
  22. I nearly always have my camera, and and some HDRI shenanigans
  23. I personally dont have any, but my 'nearly' 10 yr old daughter (at the time, she is now 12) made this with nothing more than MS Paint, and a slideshow maker
  24. aaarrgghh now look what you made me do! Went to your link to media molecule, which led me to finding the knitted SackBoy character and now Im halfway through the doll action figure! Will post the finished article by tomorrow midday, or at least as far as I've got 50 year old male minidisc user of many years, taking up the needlecraft that he thought he put down 20 odd years ago! Didnt quite finish him, but you get the idea Ok Finished the little devil!
