  1. Maxwell new CD, plus LL Cool J old CD's: Radio & Bigger & Deffer.
  2. Thanks for that. I'll do abit of research and see how I go. Again, thanks for the suggestion, but I have tried two in the past. They have a habit of unravelling.
  3. Thanks for that. I have tried those, but because my CX300's goes behind my neck, I find that this doesn't work for me.
  4. Hi everyone. I currently own a RH1 & a NHI units. Both come with remote. I currently own a pair of Senheisser CX300, which, whilst are perfect phones', are a bit long, cable wise. I tried the CX500s, but didn't like the SQ. I was thinking of getting a pair of Shure, but was worried about the length. To those with a remote unit, what do you use? I currently use an elastic band to shorten the length of the remote cabling, but this doesn't work well with the cabling for the CX300s. Any advice welcome.
  5. Transformers:Revenge Of The Fallen & The Hangover! Wasn't impressed with neither!
  6. One minus point for the NH1 is that you are reliant on the cradle in order to charge the unit. Lose that and you're in trouble( I haven't lost mine.......... yet!)
  7. 41. Been a MD user from the age of 31
  8. Exactly. I just want to listen to music. I'm not into Podcasts, and anything visual .I have a TV & a DVD recorder. If others want to do that on a portable, fine, but I'm happy with what MDs provide. it would be nice if, what with the sucrss of the RH1, that Sony developed another Hi-MD unit that wasn't so expensive, but apart from that I think the format is what it is.
  9. I watched 'Spirit" which was so-so, and 'Role Models', which was a half decent comedy.
  10. @ bobt & rayzray: Cheers. I had a great day
  11. As long as the Internet, and Tottenham Court Road stock supplies, I'll be in it to win it!!
  12. Rich & The Wizard Of Oz: Thank you for your kind wishes. Cheers
  13. Thank you all for your suggestions & advice. I will look into these and go from there. Thanks again
  14. I have always liked Classical music, but being such a vast musical genre, I don't know where to start. Could anyone reccomend some Cds that I could start building a library with. I love Beethoven' Moon Light Sonata. Any advice would be welcome.
  15. I too am happier with MD. In my time I have had a few Ipods, I even had the Sony A808. MD meets all my needs. I use my MD deck to tape(LP2) and my NH1 as a player only. With my MD deck I can also listen to my Vinyl collection, many of which are not availble on CD.
  16. Yeah, the $399 did scare me off. it'd be nice to pick one up. Thanks for the advice. Thanks for that. NYC is no different to London, althrough Tottenham Court Road is a good location to pick up the RH1!
  17. Thanks for the info. I have checked out the website, and I've seen directions to their store. Thanks again
  18. Do Sony Centres, or any similar shops, still market MD, in New York City? I ask as I'm due to travel thier next week, and I'd like to pick up either the RH1, or any other unit. I currently only have a NH1.
  19. I'll second that. I saw it on Friday at a special screening, and I intend to see it again once releashed!
  20. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fq3lbTDUHag http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=uQNwRy5KJHE&NR=1 Also nice little plug for Minidisc.org (Each Video 10 mins in length)
  21. I just had a look at the Sennheiser CX400's, and they look like they will fit the bill. Many thanks
  22. I presently own a pair of Sennheiser CX300s, which I love. I use these with my remote control unit, and whilst I also use a contraption that enables me to fold the wire of my headphones around it (the CX300's are quite long in length) it always unravels. which causes me no end of trouble. I now plan to purchase a new pair of headphones that aren't as long, and have the same incredible sound out put of the CX300s. Can anyone advise me as to what they use/would reccomend? Many thanks
  23. Still availble on line( I got mine in November!!) http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000AI3WU
