wash

recent demise of long lasting sharp m-702 ( ) leads to new purchase. i liked the ability to adjust the recording levels while at shows however would like that function in a remote. i have tried searching the products but would like reply from someone with real life experience. any recommendations? also; what is a great new MD recorder desinged for live shows? not too big but professional features and durable? any advice is greatly appreciated.
