    How to...

yup i got a new HI-MD walkman, put music on it using the HI-disk it came with. put it into a new car unit i have but wont play. i been told a few times to record in SP, or fake SP i dont understand what that is or how to do it. and people that have explained it to me went right over my head. can someone give me a slow detailed walkthrough of how to get my disk to play in my car deck?
  4. if such a single din deck excists for the love of god please tell me. but i asume it would be double din anyway. MD, CD, CDR, CDRW all in one, in the car would be nice, instead of having 2 seperate units of diferent brands. i prefer sony, but it almost dont matter. i got a unit that claims to play MD's but all i can do is use it to record off the radio, the hell would i want to do that for. i want to play MD's or hi-MDs in my car, that i recorded myself using my walkman, and computer.
  5. (single) DIN to fit in my 96 civic dash console as my car dont have a place for double DIN is there such a unit that plays: MD CD CDR CDRW? yet in single din? or an extra step, you know where i could buy a new DIN console for a 96 civic to allow installing of a double DIN unit? lol bisjac@yahoo.com serious buyer---
  6. under my computer it says a external drive is connected, and if i try to check harware, it says its working fine. just sonic stage cant find it im going to uninstall 3.2 and just use my cd
  7. im updated to service pack 2. and i did try that dowload for all drivers. and still when i open my sonicstage, click on transfer, nothing comes up. device not connected.
  8. the sonicstage 3.2 download on this site is nice, was newer then my version. but of course now it dont find my walkman. do i need drivers again? i found all these driver downloads all over the net but of course they do nothing. mz-nh600d its not as plug and play as i would have hoped -.-
  9. im sure it will take me all morning to get it going, but thanks i been dieing to hear my music in the car lol. when best buy slapped my deck in for me, they didnt plug back in the cd player, so i been out of both. lol
  10. i only know about as much is the low-mds i use to use in my OLD walkman, whats SP?, and is there anyway i can still use this desk with this NEWHI-MD walkman? *noob*
  11. ok i have the auto model MDX-C800REC it plays my car radio nicely, but i cant get my MD's to play. instructions dont say anything about it of course. So i call Sony's 1-800 number, get a tech helper, ask her Why it wont work, and she says maybe its a shotty disk, i dont have others to test out anyway. ok fine i now got myself a new walkman HI-MD player MZ-NH6000 slap some songs on it from my comp, toss the new disk into my car MD player. STILL DONT WORK ok fine, call sony up again, they spend a good 15 minutes asking each other about it, they say this car model can in fact play HI-MD's ok, but why wont my walkmans's disks play in there then? the box for my car deck says it can record off the radio, cool but does that mean thats ALL it can do? help me i need to play HI-MD's in my car, but i have a shotty deck or something, or im missing something simple, that wouldnt surprize me either.
