I'm sorry if this is to basic of a question but I am so lost I don't have a clue what I'm doing with this minidisk I will start by telling you that I'm working with a Sony MDS-JE470 MDLP or that is what the owners book says I have no clue what LP stands for... and I have been asked by my church if I can take the minidisk which we have been using to record each church service (not sure what they have it set on to record) and make CD’s that we can take over and give to our homebound members so they can listen to each service. I have a computer of course and I have a CD burner and I have a cable that connects my computer to the minidisk on oder and it will be here tomorrow. Now I need to know what I can and can not do. What type of file dose a minidisk record under? What will I see once I connect my computer to the minidisk and what will I have to do to transfer the recording over to my hard drive? And then I have also been asked to EDIT each recording on each disk to remove all the unwanted material and dead space so that only the pastors message is placed on these CD’s I am making.. Will I be able to edit the file (with software) and then make a new wav. File that I can burn onto a CD and anyone can play it in any CD player? Any help with this will be wonderful Thanks..
