  1. Yeah, it certainly looks that way. Gutted!
  2. Went to see The Cult on Friday night in London and like any other gig I attend, I took my recording set up. Anyway, after the initial set and before they came back on to do their 2 song encore, I noticed that the 'battery low' indicator was flashing on my rh10. When i got home, there was nothing on the disc. I have never had a battery go flat on me before whilst recording a gig, so am I right to presume that if the battery does go flat, the table of contents os not stored and what I was recording is wiped?
  3. I have just switched over to Himd and purchased my first Sony recorder after 7 years of making recording with a sharp and I must say, the RH10 is superb for live recording. That way that screen lights up is superb and not too bright but very, very clear and it has a manual record level set up, even if it is a bit of a pain that savings are not saved. I have always been rather wary of Sony md recorders, but am glad I took the plunge.
  4. I do apologise. I thought the MS907 had dual powering. Sorry any confusion.
  5. Or post in the relevant thread?
  6. A battery module would work fine. I used to use a Sony ECM717 mic via a Sound Professionals battery box and line in and had great results. Never used an internal battery either.
  7. Hi, Just a quick question - how do I connect my RH10 to my stereo system so I can playback via my stereo system? Can I? Cheers Wayne
  8. Yeah, that helps. Thanks for that. Why did they do this limited download thing in the beginning?
  9. Right, after much research and reading reviews etc...I think I have decided on the RH10 for my new live recording machine. What i want to know is this - can I still only put a recording onto my computer just the once as after reading this from a review 'When uploading from your MD to the PC (only possible with analogue recordings, like live recordings or voice recordings) you can only upload once and if you try again, the original gets deleted from your MD. That could mean you lose an important original recording really easily', I am slightly worried. Can anyone clarify this for me? Is this still the case? Cheers Wayne
  10. When recording with a mic with the nh1, can you change the record level manually, like with the Sharp md recorders? Cheers Wayne
  11. Is the illumination on the RH10 really bright if using it for recording gigs?
  12. FOR SALE SONY MZ-N510 NET MD WALKMAN (BLUE) 2 years old. Purchased as a playback unit only and used only a handful of times. Like new and still boxed with manuals, charger, NI-MH rechargeable Sony battery (never used), software, USB cable, headphones with remote (never used) and digital cable. MDLP. This has a line in socket so can be used for recording gigs but a Bass roll off battery box would be needed. £30 (postage rates agreed on sale - will have to check at post office but it will be sent insured). ******************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************** FOR SALE SHARP MD-MS702H(GY)2 MD RECORDER (SILVER) Purchased in September 1998 and was my primary recording unit between 1998 - 2003.
