  1. Ive tried uninstalling it. I dont remember if I did it through the uninstall wizard or through the add/remove program option. The problem is I can't uninstall these leftover pieces of it that keep causing me all these problems. I dont use my minidisc player anymore so I don't want to deal with any of it. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
  2. Can someone please help me?! Im desperate, Im so frustrated with this. If you have any ideas I would appreciate it if you could share them with me.
  3. Hi everyone, I'm having problems getting rid of OpenMG 4.1 too. I uninstalled it using Add/Remove programs, but it still exists in the list of programs (without a file size noted) and the option to "change/remove" doesn't do anything at all. When I turn my computer on, the OpenMG installer comes up and tries to re-install itself. It goes on to say that it could not find the right something or other (sorry I haven't written it down but I can find it if it matters), and the two windows, the installer and the window about not being able to find the right location, keep going back to each other as I close them, which is extremely annoying (Thanks Sony keep up the quality work!!). I end up having to stop the module and installer with the Task Manager, and this usually takes a couple tries before both the installer and the module give up. Right now I refuse to buy any Sony computer-related product again, this is just ridiculous. Anyways, I tried the instructions that Ishiyoshi provided, but when I get to the Current Version part, I don't get an "uninstall" option in the folder. What could this mean? Is there a way around this that anyone knows? If I'm having lots of problems with my computer right now, like this one, would it be best to save all my files on an external drive and completely start all over (Im blanking on the term)? Thanks for your time and expertise, it is greatly appreciated. -Joe
