Thanks very much but my md already does that. Is there any software that atomaticaly puts the silence in between tracks for the pc. I have a line in cord that i pug in to my head phone out and into the line in on my pc. Thanks for your help. Davo

Hi Guys. I have an old MZ-R701 and when I record into the the MD through the Line-in it sometimes joins the tracks. I use the A/V cables from my DVD player (the red and white ones to a headphone connection, or sometimes a double headphone connection lead). So if there was track 2 and 3 the MD would record it and count it as 1 track . It gets worse aswell, I've had 13 tracks all recorded as one before . It takes a long time to change all the track marks and sometimes I can't be bothered! Because of this, I have been ut off the MD and I am thinking of buying an iPod but I dont have the money and I don't like Apple, so... If anyone knows how to solve this problem you're help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
