Hi All, I just purchased a used MZ-NH900, and while almost everything seems to be working okay, I'm having some trouble recording from the microphone input. When I use a self-powered electret microphone, everything works fine, but if I turn the microphone's power off, or use a non-self-powered electret microphone, I don't get anything. This MD recorder should be providing phantom power to the mic, so I don't understand what's wrong. Is there some way to turn off the phantom power, or is something broken? Thanks, Tom oh, nevermind. I'm an idiot. The one mic appears to be hosed, while the other one didn't even have a battery in it, so the switch apparently cuts off the signal as well as the self-power. Sorry...
