  1. thank you, everybody, for your help! all the best, alex
  2. thanks a lot! so you think there is no reason to try fixing it? actually it still plays some mds but not so good.
  3. So here is the picture of the "cap" ??? Could the problem be in it??
  4. Yeah, "bent" is surely a better word. Sorry, I am not so good at all these termsб so "cap" is still cap. I will attach a photo of it soon, so many thanks if you could find couple of minutes to help me.
  5. No, not what I remember. Anyway, something should have happend to it, because the cap is being curved. I travel a lot, but always try to handle my recorder with care. It's working partly, even recording, but the problem is with reading/playing only. I saw this cap was curved only yesterday and tried to insert discs in two different ways - with a cap closed and open, but the result was the same. What do you think? thanks
  6. Good day! I would be very thankful if someone could help me with following: i have some problems with my Sony mz-r91. When I open it, inside, on the uppersurface there is some kind of cap with a small thin metal plate and under it - some chip. This plate is curved a bit, so it juts out. And when I insert a disc - it could be some wrong positions of it I don't know. I guess that the cap goes up and back and opens the chip. Could it be a reason why the minidisc doesn't play properly? (it takes a long time to read the disc with some noise but finally it just gives up) Thanks a lot in advance! all the best, alex
