Bogus8
I just got my JE330 and did the digital out mod as per THESE INSTRUCTIONS I hooked it up to my Gina card on my PC and pressed play and WOW it was loud... too loud ... it's pegging my meters and since it's digital there is no attentuation. I'm assuming I either did something wrong or something... only thing I can imagine is I used a ceramic disk capacitor and the number on it was 104z which from my readings meant 100nf like what the instructions ask for.Anyone have a clue what I did wrong or how I could rectify this... I need to get this thing fixed up quick... this is for a film project I'm working on and we recorded all the audio on MD.Thanks in advance,Bogus8*EDIT* I may have been way to presumptious... I just noticed I grabbed "the wrong" disc... apparently that one was recorded way to hot.... I thought it was the same one I tested the machine with when I first hooked it up analog... first track was the exact same track but one was recorded WAY hot apparently. Sorry I knew that didn't make sense 1's and 0's are 1's and 0's no matter what... just had no clue! hehe Edited January 26, 2005 by Bogus8
