Hello All:

Please forgive me if this is an easy answer,

but after numerous searches, I can't figure this out...

I have dumped over 1000 12" singles to my PC as .wav files

because they are not available on CD...

After importing them and transferring them to my HIMD (900),

I went back a few days later and the folders were still on my hard drive,

but ALL the files were gone !!! ohmy.gifohmy.gifohmy.gif

Thoughts ?

Or did I miss something fundamental that slipped passed me ???

Cheers,

D

I suspect that they are in the SonicStage My Library as .oma files? If so, try Wave converter to return them to your PC folder as .wav files free of SonicStage restrictions. (Files imported into SonicStage come under OpenMG/MagicGate licensing control - one copy held on PC, no more than 3 downloaded copies allowed to exist at any one time.)

Did you delete the files from SS while checking the "delete files from pc" box?

Can't believe SS would just delete your files like that.

The "Transfer Mode Settings" Dialog box has a check box option 'Delete the converted files from the hard disk after transferring' which means that if the box is selected the files will be deleted automatically after transfer to the device/media.
