Please help me!

Here in Toronto, Canada, I can get NH900 for 299CAD (237USD) at Sony store or RH910 for 259CAD (209USD) at www.minidisc-canada.com.

Which one will be overall better for live recording of church choir reherseals in PCM/WAV?

Please suggest me some microphone to go with one of them for that purpose as well.

Thank you very much in advance,

Sincerely yours Bojan

they re not rip-offs. they are simply in-store prices.

as for recording, they are equivalant. the differeneces between 900 and 910 are:

900 lacks:

5 line LCD (has a 3 Line)

file browser (to view files, not open them)

mp3 playback

but... the 910 lacks

HD Amp (has a digital amp. the HD amp has better sound)

front metal casing

line out

remote

Programming playlist

cradle

track rehersal mode (you can move the track lines for recorded material)

theres probably more differences than shown here, but IMO the 900 has a much better appeal now that its only 300 (compared to 450 when it first came out. the supplied remote, HD digital amp, cradle, and LINE OUT more than makes the 40 dollar difference (the remote alone is 60 bucks)

as for mics, i havent the slightest.

Thank you for your responses!!!

I've already known the differences between this 2 units, however, it seems that one missed me completely.

Correct me if I'm wrong,

but NH900 can operate both on gumstick battery and with AA using attachment.

And RH910 doesn't have an attachement for the AA battery and can operate only using gumstick battery.

Considering the prices, I know that they are high (here in Canada), but that's the fact of life here. (and you have to add 15% of GST + PST on that price). The difference between Canadian and US is not big enough, because of s&h expences.

For the microphone, I'll try to search the forum more!

Thank you once more,

Sincerely yours

Bojan
