biology.dude
hey guys i'm totally new to the board so hope this is in the right section and all that jazz... .anywhooo...I know that this maybe a redundant post (so please bare with me) but i'm getting a bit miffed because CDs that i buy then rip on my compy via WMP will not let me put the music that i bought on to my minidisc player (nh600d). I've read on other posts *provided i read them correctly* that similar problems have been happening with .mp3s so it was recommended that you should convert them to .wavs and then from .wav put them on to minidisc.... is there a way to do that with .wma files? with every cd that i've bought i burned them to my compy 1st thing so i have a lot of my music that i cant access *even if i bought it* which totally sucks. Is there a free wma -> wav or wma-> mp3 converter out there? Any help would be totally awesome thx dudes (and she-dudes) biodude
Syrius
Jet Audio. That will convert WAV <=> WMA. But to convert to MP3 you need to register. If you got nero, you can get the WMA plugin to convert them with Nero Wave Editor. From the sound of it, WMP is tagging your songs with Digital Rights (snort*) management crud. Try unchecking that option in the tools menu of WMP.
