Alphabet List

Hi everybody,

I have a mzrh10 and when I go to enter the Alphabet list to type the title of something, I can't see 3 characters to the right of the list. I have to move into the unknown area to the right of the list, just to get the following 3 characters of that row. Does anyone know how to configure this so every character shows up on the viewable screen?

That is a problem with 2nd gen units. Sony is fixing this problem. Take a look at this post:

Search the forums for information about fixing it yourself by changing some configuration in service mode. I think that the best thing you can do is to send the unit for a firmware upgrade to a sony repair store. Hope that helps

There's really not much I can do huh? I've talked to an official Sony technician and I got the worst service possible from that guy. He said there's no way they'll fix it if there reported problems to Sony that this may be a factory defect. So I'm gonna post this problem on the sony web site right now!

If you live in U.S call sony or enter eservice.sony.com . If you call sony, tell them that you want to speak with the customer service department. In the webpage that I post above, you can request for an exchange. In this page: http://esupport.sony.com/EN/feedback/feedback.html , you will be able to chat with some person at customer support. I think that they will know about the letters issue. (remeber to choose chat for portables)

I went through all of the procedures and found out I'm still eligible to exchange it. But it doesn't tell me if I can exchange it anywhere or if I have to go back to the dealer. I bought this online so it would be a hassle to send it away again.
