Well...ijust got my MZ-RH10. I got the unit which was bought in US and has the 110 adapter. Now, i am living in europe and so we have 220V.

So i started to use its battery adapter with AA battery, but then i realize that the USB port of the unit is hided by a battery holder.

I also read in the tech. passport of the minidisk unit, then when connecting it to the computer it's better to use fully charged battery to prevent electrical problems. So how can i connect it to computer? ( i cannot charge one and i cannot use external one ).

Anyone else has this problem? Did anyone connected minidisk to computer without battery or without fully charged ones?

Thanks,

hi and welcome to MDCF,

the MZRH10 will power the MD (and with 2nd gen HiMD even charge the battery) through the USB connection, so just hook it up to PC without the battery in the machine, it should work just fine

BTW: you could always get an external gumstick charger, or just get a (generic or Sony) 220V adapter for the RH10
